🚀Getting Started

How do I get started with Any Number Anywhere?

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, create an account, choose your subscription plan, and you'll receive a virtual phone number instantly. You can start making and receiving calls right away!

What do I need to use the app?

You need an iOS 14.0+ or Android 8.0+ device, an internet connection (WiFi or mobile data), and an active subscription. No additional hardware is required.

Can I choose my phone number?

During the setup process, you can browse available numbers and select one that suits your needs. Choose from local, national, or toll-free numbers.

📞Calling & Messaging

How do I make a call?

Open the app, go to the Keypad tab, enter the phone number, and tap the green call button. You can also call contacts directly from your phone's contact list.

Will my real number be visible to people I call?

No, when you make calls through Any Number Anywhere, recipients will see your virtual number, not your personal phone number.

Can I send and receive SMS messages?

Yes! The Messages tab allows you to send and receive SMS messages using your virtual number. All messages are stored in the app.

Do I need WiFi or can I use mobile data?

Both work! You can use WiFi or your mobile data connection. The app automatically adapts to your connection quality.

💳Subscription & Billing

What subscription plans are available?

We offer two plans:

  • Starter: £9.99/month - 100 minutes, all basic features
  • Pro: £24.99/month - 500 minutes, advanced features including business hours and auto-reply

What happens if I exceed my monthly minutes?

You'll receive notifications as you approach your limit. Once exceeded, outbound calling will be restricted until your next billing cycle or you can upgrade to a higher plan.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). Your service will continue until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Generally, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can request a refund through your app store within their refund window.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes! You can change your plan at any time in the app settings. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.

Features

How does voicemail work?

Missed calls automatically go to voicemail. You can record a custom greeting, and voicemails are transcribed automatically. Access them in the Voicemail tab.

What are Business Hours?

Pro plan feature that lets you set specific hours when calls ring through. Outside those hours, calls go directly to voicemail. Perfect for work-life balance.

What is Missed Call Auto-Reply?

Pro plan feature that automatically sends an SMS to missed callers with a custom message, letting them know you'll get back to them.

Can I use my contacts from my phone?

Yes! The app integrates with your device contacts. You can call and message your existing contacts directly through the app.

🔧Troubleshooting

Calls are dropping or have poor quality

Try these steps:

  • Check your internet connection strength
  • Switch between WiFi and mobile data
  • Close and reopen the app
  • Restart your device
  • Update to the latest app version

I'm not receiving push notifications

Ensure notifications are enabled:

  • Go to device Settings → Notifications → Any Number Anywhere
  • Enable "Allow Notifications"
  • Check that notification permissions are granted in the app

The app won't connect or shows offline

Check your internet connection, ensure the app has network permissions, and try logging out and back in. If the issue persists, contact support.

I can't make emergency calls (999/911)

VoIP apps have limitations with emergency calling. Always ensure you have a traditional phone line or mobile service available for emergencies. Use your device's native phone app for emergency calls.

🔒Account & Privacy

How do I delete my account?

Contact support@anynumberanywhere.com to request account deletion. We'll process your request within 30 days and delete all your data as per our privacy policy.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. Your calls, messages, and personal information are protected. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Do you share my data with third parties?

We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the app (like Twilio for calls). We never sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I change my email or password?

Go to Settings in the app, then Account Settings. You can update your email address and password there.
